The Montblanc Writers Edition Homage to Sir Arthur Conan Doyle Limited Edition is dedicated to one of the most famous crime novelists and creator of the famous detective Sherlock Holmes. Made of precious blue-gray resin, the edition evokes the sinister and foggy atmosphere of London, where Sherlock Holmes solved his cases. The body and hood of this edition are decorated with a Scottish motif that echoes Holmes' coat and part of the historic map of London. The initials JB are found under the clip in the shape of a PVD-coated magnifying glass, a tribute to Joseph Bell: the man who inspired the character of Sherlock Holmes. The Montblanc emblem in precious resin dominates the cap of this edition. The handcrafted Au 750 solid gold nib features a flying dinosaur engraving from "The Lost World" around the father portrait of "Professor Challenger" and "Sherlock Holmes".
