The Meisterst ⁇ ck collection Around the World in 80 Days is inspired by Jules Verne's famous adventure novel. The Classique fountain pen in precious blue resin represents the first part of the journey. The protagonists travel by steamboat from London to Bombay, crossing the Mediterranean Sea and the Suez Canal. The hood features iconic elements of the novel: sea waves, card seeds and a cartridge with a laser-engraved steamship design. The top of the hood features embosssing of the duration of the trip, 18 days from London to Bombay and 80 days in total. The writing instrument is complemented by a handmade nib in 14K gold rhodium finish, decorated with a hot air balloon and with the start and end dates of the adventurous journey.
