The overall silhouette of the writing instrument takes the shape of an ancient mountain stick. Made of metal with a special antique finish, this edition is inspired by the fairy tale "Sleeping Beauty in the Wood", as the leaves and thorns around the hood and body reveal. The cap is crowned by the emblem Montblanc in precious mother of pearl. When rotated, the platinum-finished clip, inspired by a knotty piece of wood, reveals the striking silhouette of the Grimm brothers' profile. To pay homage to the magic of storytelling, the two-tone rhodium-finished, handmade Au 750 solid gold nib bears the design of the flames of a hearth, a place around which folk tales were often told and handed down.
