The Line Montblanc 1858 was inspired by the professional Minerva watches of the 1920s and 1930s, designed for military use and exploration. By reinterpreting these historical models, Montblanc 1858 expresses the spirit of alpine excursions, embodying the modern trend of returning to nature. Montblanc 1858 Geosphere Limited Edition 1858 is dedicated to the world mountaineering challenge "Seven Summits", the "Holy Grail" of mountain hiking. The 42 mm bronze case features contrasting beige details with brown elements, which draw inspiration from the colors of the deserts. The timepiece is equipped with a complication of the universal manufacturing time, developed by the watchmakers Montblanc by Villeret: two domed globes that rotate in opposite directions completing a complete evolution in 24 hours. Both are surrounded by a scale with 24 time zones, along with a day/night indication with contrasting colors that allows you to better appreciate the various time zones, thanks to luminescent continents, which guarantees greater visibility and better performance in the dark. The timepiece is complemented by a Gramato brown calfskin strap with beige stitching.
